It refers to the style of makeup that prevails in China, largely favored by online influencers and known for its bold use of red. The term "チャイボーグ" is a compound word of "china + cyborg," meaning "Chinese beauty with perfect makeup."
“中国妆”的特点是肤色（底妆）白、细长的拱形眉和浓色的口红，一种美丽、成熟的印象。此外黑长发也是中国妆容的共通点。
The Chinese-style makeup, characterized by a white complexion (foundation), thin, arched eyebrows and a thick lip color, leaves a beautiful, mature impression. Also, a girl of this style usually has long black hair.
AMF（东京）发布的 “2020年JC / JK（女初高中生）流行预测”中，“中式妆容”（事物类）位列第一，成为话题。
According to the 2020 JC & JK (Junior and Senior High School Girls) Trend Predictions by AMF (Tokyo), the hashtag # "Chinese-style makeup" (among other events) ranked first.
